HSE
Health, Safety and Environment
Everyone on a Williot site goes home safe: our crews, our subcontractors, our clients and the public walking past.
Site rules
How We Keep Sites Safe
The same rules apply on every Williot site, whether the job is a single home or a road.
01
PPE on every site
Hard hat, hi-vis vest and safety boots for everyone on site, every day, visitors included. Gloves, eye and ear protection and harnesses where the task needs them.
02
Toolbox talks
A short safety briefing before work starts, about the day's tasks and their hazards, led by the site supervisor.
03
Work at height
Scaffolds put up and inspected by a trained team and tagged before use. No work at height without edge protection or a harness.
04
Excavations and plant
Trenches supported or battered back, edges barriered, and plant run only by trained operators with a banksman where needed.
05
Site induction
Every new worker and subcontractor is briefed on the site rules, the hazards and the emergency arrangements before starting.
06
Reporting
Near misses and incidents are reported to the site supervisor the same day, so the cause can be put right.

The public and our clients
Safe Beyond the Site Boundary
- Sites hoarded or fenced, with signs at every entrance
- Visitors signed in, given PPE and escorted
- Safe walkways kept open where a site meets a road or a school
- Trucks marshalled in and out of the site
- Dust, noise and working hours agreed with neighbours and the assembly
Environment
Five Methods We Build Into Our Work
Construction, WASH and the environment are our three core areas. On site, that means:
- 01
Reduce waste
- 02
Recycle and reuse materials
- 03
Conserve energy and water
- 04
Keep drains and streams free of spoil
- 05
Leave every site clean
Records
We publish safety figures only when there is a real, dated record behind them. To report a safety concern about any Williot site, call +233 53 048 0013 or email info@williotce.com.

Tell Us What You Need Built
The consultation and the quotation are free. Tell us the project, the site and the timeline, and the same team takes it from the first meeting to handover.
