Fraud warning

Verify WCE

Criminals sometimes pretend to be construction companies: fake tenders, fake job offers, and invoices with changed bank details. Here is how to check that a message really comes from us.

  • We never change our bank details by email

If an email, letter or message says our bank details have changed, do not pay. Call us on a number from this page and ask.

  • We never charge to register or to apply

No fee to register as a supplier or subcontractor, to receive tender documents, or for a job, an interview or a placement.

  • Our email ends in @williotce.com

We do not send business email from Gmail, Yahoo or other free addresses. Look closely: fraudsters use addresses that differ by one letter.

  • Our only website is williotce.com

Check the address bar. We do not run tender portals on other websites.

How to check

Before You Act on a Message

  • 01

    A letter or invoice

Check it carries our name, logo and an @williotce.com email, then call us to confirm before acting on it.

  • 02

A staff member or ID card

Ask for their full name and role, then call us to confirm they work for us and are expected at your site.

  • 03

    A job offer

Real offers come after an interview, from an @williotce.com address, and never ask you for money.
